Home Information Packs have been introduced by the Government to help the sometimes frought experience of house buying. The Home Information Pack has in it's contents Local Authority Searches, An Energy Performance Certificate showing how energy efficient the property is together with recomendations as how to improve it's energy performance and also Water and Drainage Authority searches. The Home Information Pack is required for all property put on the market from December 2007.
Vale Energy Assessors have been trained ,qualified and Accredited by the Building Research Establishment based in Watford, London.http://www.bre.co.uk.The BRE is the country's foremost centre for the testing of building materials ,training and researching of energy efficiency in buildings. It was the BRE that developed the RDSAP software that is used in the collection and presentation of information regarding the role of the Domestic Energy Assessor.
